“After suffering from being in a car accident, I saw Jess with post concussive syndrome, back, neck, leg pain and dizziness to the point where even standing still I felt motion sickness. My symptoms were debilitating to the point where I had to take a leave from work, went on permanent disability and stayed in my dark bedroom in constant pain. I was in excellent health before I got hurt. I had fortunately seen Jess a couple times before the car accident so it just stood to reason that I would continue with her. “I’ve been involved in 2 pretty serious collisions and I’ve tried a lot to get back to my life. Physio, prolotherapy, PRP, epidural, chiro, exercise... you name it. I had a tear in my L4, L5, a flattened disc, and numerous problems with my neck and TMJ. I am a very active person and while I’d have periods where treatment was working, I’d always have flare ups and new issues pop up as I tried to heal. I was sick of expensive therapies that didn’t help, and my coverage was barely lasting half the year. Then, in Late September 2020 after hearing amazing things from a mutual friend, I tried Samestars wellness. Their friendly, compassionate, and NO NONSENSE approach to treatment was so refreshing. “Same Stars treats my entire family with a combo of massage and acupuncture therapy. (Disabled mama (me), my broken ex-football player father, my mechanic husband, my mother (oncology) and our young son with needs of his own). Our family has been with them nearly two years now, using both massage and acupinture treatments to support our different needs. Being physically disabled, I am very happy that they come to me and go above and beyond to ensure I am comfortable and feel secure during my appointments. They happily treat me in my guest bedroom and as the massage table isn't the best option for me without fuss. They show up with everything required including: fresh linens, pillows and table etc. so basically all you have to do is answer the door and then relax. They're very passionate about what they do and have extensive knowledge and sensitivity training surrounding chronic illness, physical disabilities, sports injuries, neurodiversity, oncology patients, complex cases etc. Call them - or just go online and book if you're scared of talking to people on the phone LOL! You are in good hands, literally. They even direct bill most insurance companies, accept major credit cards and make things easy to manage on your end with the Jane app. A thousand stars over and over.”
